On August 16th, 2024, the PULASPACE team, led by General Partner Mooketsi Bennedict Tekere, Lead Software Engineer Bakang Raditedu and Chief Experience Officer Botlhe Khumo and Operations Coordinator Victor M Gitonga, proudly attended a significant event at Therisanyo Primary School. This day marked the graduation ceremony for 20 students and 6 teachers who completed our HANDS-ON CODE initiative, a milestone in our ongoing commitment to digital literacy. During this event, we also witnessed the signing of the Coding Pact agreement, where 8 public primary schools in the Gaborone region officially expressed their commitment to our coding initiative. This momentous occasion was the culmination of a successful collaboration between PULASPACE and Cresta President Hotel which provided essential digital literacy education to the participating children and teachers. We extend our gratitude to Cresta President Hotel for their generous support and to the Government of Botswana through the @Ministry of Communications, Knowledge and Technology (MCKT) for their invaluable partnership in making this initiative a success. This project aligns with Botswana's Agenda 2036, contributing to the development of a knowledge-based economy. Together, we are investing in the future of our nation, one code at a time.
