Fantastic 4K TV. Looks great by default and even better after customization. Thin and sits back on wall well. It's quite heavy so you can't avoid a 2 person setup.
Magic remote is smooth and easy to use. Voice control makes searches significantly eeasier.
Mine is hooked up to a receiver so I can attest to full eARC functionality. Cable box, TV and receiver all works through TV remote, fast and responsive.

There is one sad downside, but apparently it applies to all TVs. The Ethernet port is only a 10/100, not Gigabit. So if you want to take advantage of higher speeds, you have to use the wifi.

We upgraded from a regular standard HD LCD TV to this and been overly impressed by all the extra features that were not advertised. We were hoping to add Chromecast to it, but then realized it's not necessary as it had all the same apps. As it goes for picture quality as I've stated previously we went and upgraded so obviously it's gonna look better but we tested it out with some pretty high end video checking out how it handles with clarity and colour and it performs extremely well. When it comes to gaming, we use a PC and we find that using 1080 P will get you 120 Hz but when you go to 4K, you'll get 60 Hz and we're totally fine with that. It's worth making it a choice for your list. Bright, clear, sharp and the sound off the tv is impressive too.

Great TV

Was looking for an entry level higher end tv and this fits the bill. It’s exactly what we were looking for. Much faster than our older off brand tv. Buttery smooth picture and the remote is a really nice touch. It’s one of those tvs you always see on display with the really nice display. Great QLED tv.

I picked this up on a Black Friday sale and so far I'm really happy with it. We are using it for a bedroom tv and it's perfect. Great colour, haven't had any ghosting or anything, set up was nice and easy. I definitely recommend this tv.

Bought this 50 inch LG to replace my old Costco 50 inch Samsung (CU7000 series) which was a 4K bought back in 2019 but started to fail in holding a steady picture.

To my eyes, I didn't find the LG's picture quality to be all that sharp. Images did not look so crisp and I was expecting a slight upgrade over my 5 yr old Samsung.

Colors were good.

When I fired up my Xbox Series X, again I didn't find the image quality to be crisp. I also realized that this LG has only 1 2.1 HDMI port that can support high speed signals. It still looked blurry. The 120fps acceleration did not wow me as I still detected some ghosting of images.

Either I received a bum unit or what is commonly done is that the smaller TV's in a manufacturers range do not have all the bells and whistles that their larger screens have (which seems common). Tweaking the available settings did not seem to help in picture sharpness or with the gaming ghosting.

I also did not like the software interface that LG uses. I found it annoying looking like an ad heavy website.

I also paired this with my Samsung MS650 soundbar. The sound was good but (as advertised) you can use the full features of LG soundbars only, thus I could not use any of the built in presets with the Samsung soundbar, which is fair.

I ended up arranging a return through the very helpful Amazon customer service agent.

I bought a SAMSUNG 55-Inch Class Neo QLED 4K QN90C which to be fair, is not in the same class as this LG and it literally blows this LG out of the water in every respect at a higher price.

For the price of this LG, I was expecting something better than my 5 yr old $600 Samsung but was disappointed.

Very disappointing picture

Shipping was great. Absolutely no damage at all. The quality of the picture leaves you wondering about what LG is trying to accomplish. We purchased our first LG smart TV over 10 years ago. It also had 3D viewing , and included 4 pairs of viewing glasses. It still works perfectly but we are unable to install any apps anymore. The quality of this set has gone downhill, and it lacks so much. My biggest disappointment is viewing the picture when you are watching from a 45 degree angle. For example: If you have a couch and an arm chair on either side you will get 2 very different pictures. Viewing the screen from a 90 degree angle (looking at it directly in the middle) you do get a good quality picture. If you sit and view it from any angle (sitting in an arm chair on either side) you can barely make it out. The picture looses all its color. It goes white!! As you move back to viewing it from the center, your color starts to slowly return and quality gets better. In other words, in order to get the best quality of picture you must be staring at it directly from the middle of the screen. Thumbs down on this product and on LG for cutting corners in order to save a buck.
