In a high-caliber volleyball match filled with big swings of emotions and plays, the Lancaster girls couldn’t match Fairport’s firepower and lost in Saturday’s Class AAA Far West Regionals in four sets at Victor High School.
In Division I, Clarence hung tough, but lost 3-1 to unbeaten Section V champion Fairport. Game scores were 21-25, 26-24, 19-25 and 14-25. In Division 2, West Seneca West was swept by Section V champion Spencerport in three sets, 22-25, 13-25, 23-25.
