I created and uploaded over one hundred maps, using this online map creation tool, to http://en.wikipedia.org, and/or to http://commons.wikimedia.org

And I have uploaded several thousand PD images too, generally from the .mil or .gov domain, and more recently, quite a few CC images from flickr.com.

this OTRS ticket confirms the flickr and panoramio ID I use. Sometimes I upload all the images from a photo excursion there, then pick a few to upload here. Using flinfo one can save bandwidth by uploading the thumbnail version, and letting flickrreview upload the larger version. Geo Swan (talk) 21:50, 24 March 2014 (UTC)
