Cooking Notes

My grandmother used to drink "Tom Collins" and a Manhattan. I had no idea a TOM COLLINS was so fresh and refreshing! HOW easy to make! My sister was making a gin and grapefruit and elderberry liquer! GIN all around! :)

I did this for a party once, I made a pitcher of the mixed drink and had various. fruit purees in small glass bottles so you could flavor it if you'd like. I thought it would be a lovely idea. Turned out most people just LOVED the drink on its own! Refreshing, light and way too easy to down!

Your grandmother sounds like quite the lady! I, too, drink Tom Collinses and Manhattans!
