Ingredients
Yield:About one cup
- 1egg yolk
- 1tablespoon imported mustard such as Dijon
- 1tablespoon white-wine vinegar
- Salt to taste, if desired
- Freshly ground pepper to taste
- 1cup corn, peanut or vegetable oil
- 3tablespoons horseradish, preferably freshly grated
Preparation
- Step 1
Put the egg yolk, mustard, vinegar, salt and pepper in a mixing bowl. Start beating briskly with a wire whisk and gradually add the oil until all of it is added.
- Step 2
Stir in the horseradish.

love this horseradish mayo over a fillet of salmon. i topped it off with slice almond and parsley mix. it was hit at the dinner table!
