The School offers a bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, in addition to master's and PhD graduate programs, in order to contribute to a better understanding of social reality, especially with regards to relevant processes and topics relevant to Brazil and its insertion into the global scenario. The institution integrates undergraduate and graduate education with academic and professional activities.

International Exchange programs

Over the years, FGV CPDOC has worked to promote and expand international cooperation with international research and higher education institutes, through joint conferences, events, seminars, courses, research projects and publications. In addition, the School has also raised the level of promotion and academic exchange between faculty, researchers and students.

As our graduate and undergraduate courses are a part of a solid research and archive institution, our students are encouraged to participate in current research being developed in areas such as audiovisual and documentary, archives and cultural assets, digital humanities, and to engage in qualitative and quantitative research.
