Before adding a category to an article, as you did to Bridget Fonda, please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category that you specified according to Wikipedia's categorization guidelines. The category being added must already exist, and must be supported by the article's verifiable content. Categories may be removed if they are deemed incorrect for the subject matter. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 21:59, 23 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at Ayele Seteng, you may be blocked from editing. You have been asked several times to stop adding articles to inappropriate categories, esp those for people of Israeli descent. However you did it again, in this edit[1] to Ayele Seteng. Please stop adding nonsense categories

edit

Please don't add categories like Category:Lebanese people of Israeli descent to people who immigrated to Israel from the other country. These people are not of Israeli descent, they are immigrants to Israel. Number 57 15:57, 30 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Yet another one: this edit[3] to Evelin Hagoel, adding her wrongly to Category:Moroccan people of Israeli descent. Please STOP. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 16:12, 31 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Non-existent categories

edit

Before adding a category to an article, as you did to Craig Conway (actor), please make sure that the category page actually exists. In some cases, it may be appropriate to create a new category in accordance with Wikipedia's categorization guidelines, but it is usually better to use the most specific available existing category. It is never appropriate to leave a page categorised in a non-existent category, i.e. one whose link displays in red. You may find it helpful to use the gadget HotCat, which tests whether a category exists before saving a change. Thank you. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 02:05, 31 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

ANI discussion involving you

edit

There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. The thread is IP prolifically adding inapropriate categories. Thank you. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 16:08, 31 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Before adding a category to an article, as you did to Liv Tyler, please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category that you specified according to Wikipedia's categorization guidelines. The category being added must already exist, and must be supported by the article's verifiable content. Categories may be removed if they are deemed incorrect for the subject matter. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 21:36, 10 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Again, please don't add inappropriate categories to articles. Category:Footballers by city or town in England is a container for categories for footballers by specific cities or towns in England, e.g. Category:Footballers from Bristol, Category:Footballers from Blackburn. It doesn't make sense to add it to individual footballers. Struway2 (talk) 11:54, 14 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Helene Palmer, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Mattythewhite (talk) 21:32, 14 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Robertjamal12. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, John Fleck (actor), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Robertjamal12 (talk) 17:20, 1 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Dick Healey (footballer), you may be blocked from editing. Straight off the latest block for inappropriate categorisation, adding the container category Footballers by city or town in England to an article about an individual player.
