Implausible search term. Un assiolo (talk) 22:41, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete - beyond implausible EvergreenFir (talk) 22:44, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep as creator. I do believe that it's a term that's relevant to the target and isn't defamatory in any way, otherwise I wouldn't have created it. But I get it if it's deleted; it's kind of silly and that sort of thing tends to push people toward taking it less seriously from a functional perspective. Thebiguglyalien (talk) 22:49, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep feel like years later people will find this interesting. In the same way that people talk about the body parts of famous people, like van Gogh's ear. 14.49.153.193 (talk) 23:21, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete: while I get the idea, I don't think it's a plausible search term. Who would be searching for "Donald Trump's ear" when they mean to find the assassination attempt where he was injured in the ear? Loki (talk) 23:24, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep for now. It's way too soon to know whether this will be a lasting thing or not - e.g. will he (or others) keep referencing it? will it become a meme of some sort (I saw one before I read the news, so it's not implausible)? will it be noticeably disfigured such that people want to know why? Unless it is very obviously becomes a notable thing, we should revisit this in a few months but until then it's harmless so rather than speculate and maybe delete unnecessarily we should wait. Thryduulf (talk) 23:47, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep for now per Thryduulf.

Keep who would be searching for "Donald Trump's Ear" in any other context? Caleb M1 (talk) 01:10, 15 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Caleb M1: "Implausible search term" means that no one is likely to search for it in any context, not that the target is implausible. --Un assiolo (talk) 20:05, 15 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ok. Changing vote to Delete Caleb M1 (talk) 17:51, 17 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Keep. Quite silly but fine. PARAKANYAA (talk) 01:42, 15 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Seconded. Pretty silly, but I've seen sillier. User:WoodElf 01:53, 15 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Bails

The result of the discussion was retarget to Bail (disambiguation). (non-admin closure) asilvering (talk) 04:32, 22 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure. Normally plural->singular is a good thing, but bail, the legal concept, lacks a plural, like "sheep" or "rice". I went there expecting Bail (cricket), and the edit history shows that it can also refer to Bail (jewelry). Absent other meanings, "bails"->"bail" would make sense as a redirect from typo or spelling error, but when the word has its own meanings distinct from the error, the error shouldn't be treated as the primary topic. Now: whether a retarget to cricket or jewellery is best, or whether we should disambiguate them (and maybe throw in the legal concept too), I don't know, but either one is better than the current target. The result of the discussion was retarget to List of exoplanet extremes#Most massive. Jay 💬 17:36, 22 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This redirect is redirecting to a completely different topic, it compare sizes, not mass. I would suggest either deleting or redirecting to List of exoplanet extremes#Most massive, that show why we can't say what exoplanet is the most massive known. 21 Andromedae (talk) 18:19, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was retarget to List of LGBT-related acronyms. Jay 💬 11:13, 27 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not mentioned at the target page, or at List of LGBT-related acronyms. Un assiolo (talk) 22:25, 6 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I believe this should point to Person of color. But since it's not mentioned there, Wiktionary could solve the problem. It should be noted that this abbreviation is mentioned here, here Web-julio (talk) 01:04, 7 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was retarget to Corvus#Cultural depictions. If anyone actually wants to take on Cultural depictions of corvids, by all means go ahead and retarget this once it's done. (non-admin closure) asilvering (talk) 04:27, 22 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
