A Ride into the Mountains is a 2013 action game developed and published by Sunhead Games. It was released for iOS and Android on July 23, 2013. The game was met with a mostly positive reception.

Gameplay

The player controls an archer named Zu, who rides a horse through the mountains. To attack incoming enemies, the player must shoot arrows.[1]

The player controls a man named Zu.[2]

Development and release

The game was developed by Taiwanese studio Sunhead Games, a two-person team composed of Lee Kuo and Chia-Yu Chen.[3] The pair combined their ideas; Lee-Kuo was inspired by artistic games, while Chia-Yu prefers action.[3]

A Ride into the Mountains was released on the App Store on July 23, 2013.[4]

Reception

The game has a "generally favorable" rating on Metacritic.[5] The game was praised.[7][11][9][10][6][8]

A Ride into the Mountains was considered to be one of the best Ouya games by Gamezebo.[12]
