The Women's 5000 metres event at the 2010 Commonwealth Games took place at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on 12 October 2010.[1]

The winning margin was 0.49 seconds which as of 2024 remains the only time the women's 5,000 metres was won by less than a second at these games.
