The Women's 5000 metres event at the 2010 Commonwealth Games took place at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on 12 October 2010.

The winning margin was 0.49 seconds which as of 2024 remains the only time the women's 5,000 metres was won by less than a second at these games.
