Vincente DiSanti is an American filmmaker, actor and writer. He became known for creating and directing the Friday the 13th fan film franchise Never Hike Alone; he also portrays Jason Voorhees in all installments of the franchise.

Education and career

In 2007, DiSanti received a degree in film production and editing from Worcester State, after which he moved to southern California, where he began his film career.[1] One of his first actor works was an additional voice for the 2013 film Free Birds; he was also a story coordinator for the film.[citation needed] His first directorial work was The Red Room, which was released on August 20, 2015.[2] The following year, he created his production company Womp Stomp Films. The goal with his production company is to direct feature films and episodic series.[3] In the same year, he was a co-writer for Rock Dog.[citation needed]

His second directorial work was Never Hike Alone (2017), which become a huge success from Friday the 13th fans,[citation needed] and is considered as "one of the best Friday the 13th fan films ever."[4] The film also spawned a prequel, Never Hike in the Snow (2020), and a sequel, Never Hike Alone 2 (2023).[5] Two other sequels was also announced on September 2019.[6] However, by 2024, it is unknown that they still in development. An animated short film called Ghosts in the Fog was announced on July 2022;[7] the first trailer was released on November 2022.[8] He directed the short film Imagine, which was released on September 6, 2019.[9][10] In 2021, he was a co-writer for Jason Rising, an Friday the 13th fan film.[11]

In addition to directing, DiSanti portrayed Michael Myers in numerous Halloween fan films during 2018 and 2020.[12][13][14] In 2021, he appeared in 13 Fanboy as himself.[15]
