Plot Summary

[edit]

Just confirming that the plot summary includes nothing from Batman 635-641. The version of the book I have does not include the other issues, so I cannot confirm if any of the summary is accurate. Klayman55 (talk) 13:03, 10 February 2017 (UTC)Klayman55[reply]

Joker's madness

[edit]

I don't understand the concern to make Jason Todd "sound more neutral" when talking about The Joker's mental state. These are not real people subject to the rigours of WP:BLP, they are unoffendable cartoon characters designed to be larger and more extreme than life. Further, I don't believe the edit sounds "more neutral" anyway, it seems to me to just be less representative of what the comic actually says. Without violating copyright by writing the precise words here, Jason tells the Joker he knows a secret. The secret is that, although The Joker is certainly "a whack job", he exaggerates his craziness as an excuse for the monstrous acts he commits. Jason is clearly not saying "he can see that the Joker is just pretending to be insane". He's saying The Joker is insane but acts up his insanity for advantage. Hence Jason is letting The Joker know he sees through the act.

I will revert because it seems closer to the plot and concern for neutrality is misplaced. Best wishes, Captainllama (talk) 21:48, 15 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The result of this discussion was: no objections, so the merge will proceed.

I suggest merging "Batman: Under the Red Hood" into "Batman: Under the Hood" because I don't think it fits as a separate article. This would make the information more complete and easier to find in one place. Lililolol (talk) 22:17, 27 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
