Carbapenem is an antibiotic and therefore in the 'see more' section, I felt that it was more appropriate to include antimicrobial resistance as a reference instead of drug resistance. After delving into antimicrobial resistance for a little while, I found NDM-1 and spoke a little about the enzyme as it specifically acts again Carbanepenem's antibiotic principles. It may be worth noting that carbapenem is a molecule in its own right. Fuzzform 22:45, 31 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Examples

[edit]

In the examples section, it states that a certain penem is similar to a carbapenem, but it's a penem. If it's not a carbapenem, and just a penem, why is it there? It's not unrelated to the article, but this article is not titled "Carbapenems and similar substances", and neither is the section named "Examples of carbapenems and a few other things we've decided to throw in just for shits and giggles". Remove Penem example? :D mrout talk 11:07, 19 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've moved it out of Examples and into new 'See also'. Rod57 (talk) 14:19, 22 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
