Fair use rationale for Image:Casper poster.jpg

[edit]

Image:Casper poster.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Some mistake in starring list of Casper film

[edit]

Hello,

As per my knowledge there is some mistake in the right hand side list of starring under the Casper Poster. "Robin William" has not been acted in this film, but his name appears there in list. And the actor "Bill Pullman"'s name is missing who has done the role of Dr. James Harvey.

Moustached Dan Aykroyd cameo

[edit]

@Crboyer and Kirbanzo: Hey guys, I notice that you keep reverting the edits about a moustached Ray Stantz calming that it's "Vandalism" when it's not at all vandalism of any kind. Please watch this short clip here as proof that Ray does in fact has a moustache in his Casper cameo while the character is generally clean shaved in the Ghostbusters films. If you don't think this is a noteworthy piece of trivia to mention about, please discuss it here before reverting these edits again. 124.176.145.159 (talk) 01:07, 9 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • I'd say perhaps a short mention, but nothing more. It's not noteworthy enough to warrant too much, but perhaps a blurb about the character being depicted with a moustache instead of being clean shaved like the source films. Kirbanzo (userpage - talk - contribs) 03:16, 9 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Strong exclude: There is zero justification for including a description of the mustache. Was he credited as "mustachioed Ray Stantz"? No. What if there were some costume inconsistency or he was holding his proton pack emitter with the wrong hand? Would we care about that? Hair parted on the other side? How does this trivium improve our understanding of the Casper film? Cyphoidbomb (talk) 03:55, 9 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Exclude: For the same reasons as above. The character is still Ray, mustache or not. Crboyer (talk) 04:23, 9 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

"Dark fantasy"?

[edit]

Who keeps adding this sub-genre to the lead without providing irrefutable evidence? This has to stop. DawgDeputy (talk) 19:46, 4 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
