Page title

[edit]

Why does the page title include the word Refugee when the text indicates the act (or acts ?) is/are called the Cuban Adjustment Act. -- Beardo (talk) 16:17, 26 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It is called the Cuban Adjustment Act - there is no 'Refugee' in the title of the act. There are a slew of problems with this article altogether. Labot2001 (talk) 18:47, 18 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Article needs cleanup

[edit]

Seems this article was written by someone not familiar with Wiki standards.

  • Style of writing is very unclear - the history of the act and its present form seem to mix in the article. It is not clear which provisions were added when, etc.
  • No citations
  • Sources are vague (a link to the DoS website? really?) and no scholarly sources are used.

The "Modifications" paragraph says, "Migration flow and control has been a long standing peon in U.S. Cuba relations..." What on earth is intended by the word "peon"? Andyvphil (talk) 10:46, 15 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
