Feminist and socioeconomic criticisms

[edit]

I have boldly reverted a section User:Arson Darling recently added to the article on feminist and socioeconomic criticisms. It turns out that the articles referenced are all really referring to the book, not to the movie. Indeed, about half of the material added to this article appears to have been basically copied from the article on the book.

I think it is sufficient to have the criticisms only on the page about the book, especially since that is what the criticisms are addressed to. I would be open to a link to the section somewhere on this page, say, from a "See also" section. JEN9841 (talk) 03:05, 31 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that the section does not belong. The film itself will probably receive this kind of criticism when it comes out. Erik (talk | contribs) 19:42, 30 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Forget feminist criticism, we need some masculinist criticisms. After all, this film is arguably teaching women a highly negative message from the male perspective-- that women should abandon all of the conventionality of their life and go on a mission to find Mr.Perfect (a man that does not exist in reality, only in fantasy) regardless of any constraint of time, money, or morality. • The so called message of that film isn't clear at all. Between here and now, remebering and searching for spiritual or sensual solutions, to me it seems everything is already there.Superficially interpretated: she is looking for a new man; means a misunderstanding. Love so to say

implies more than sex. And not only advertisment: A material girl is visible, some ritues and italien prejudices...--Danaide (talk) 07:35, 24 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Plot summary

[edit]

At the moment this is not a plot summary, this is a press release. Given that there is also no suitable summary in the book article, could someone who has watched this movie consider writing up? Kabuki dreams (talk) 15:24, 17 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
