Epipaleozoic

[edit]

The third paragraph mentions the term “epipaleozoic” and has a link to the page on the Paleozoic. However, the Paleozoic page has no mention of what epipaleozoic means or what time it encompasses. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Editor1023 (talkcontribs) 21:03, 13 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

it would appear that the prefix 'epi' means 'upon' and thus in geological terms 'after' (per normal stratigraphy) - so epi-paleozoic looks to mean - any time 'just after' the paleozoic. But I'm just using logic here rather actual dictionary definition for epi-paleozoic as I can't find that EdwardLane (talk) 13:28, 8 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
