A difficult phrase

[edit]

"Adds up to 61 schools" in a difficult phrase because it has two incompatible meanings:

A. "adds as many as 61 schools, in addition to the ones that we had already."
That number might not be 61, but it can be any number between zero and 61, inclusive, such as 43.

B. "sums to exactly 61 schools when we add them all up." 98.67.168.193 (talk) 03:05, 31 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Need advice for adding missing schools

[edit]

Hi. I am attempting to update the wikidata for all US dental schools (identifying them as dental schools, linking them to ADEA, etc.). However, there needs to be a wikipedia entry for each wikidata item (makes sense), but many US dental schools don't current have their own pages.

For example, Midwestern University as a university has two distinct dental schools in different states, accredited independently. According to CODA, ADEA, and MU, these two dental schools are Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine-Arizona and Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine-Illinois.

In order to model the data correctly, each of these (and other examples I can name or you can find by scrolling thru the page) needs it's own wikipedia page. Personally, I don't have the time or expertise to write a proper wikipedia entry for each of these. What should I do? Create a stub for each and hope someone comes along and fills in the details?

Anyone want to help? Thanks. XKL (talk) 17:15, 22 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
