Magnox LtdNuclear Restoration Services – Magnox Ltd has been renamed to Nuclear Restoration Services as part of a government rebrand of nuclear institutions. In line with Great British Nuclear (legally BNFL Ltd), I suggest we move this article to NRS to maximise searchability and easiness to link. 12xii (talk) 11:25, 23 February 2024 (UTC) — Relisting. Bensci54 (talk) 11:54, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I understand this position and entirely agree that current searchability is not perfect, but I propose we keep this page as Magnox Ltd. I think this is the right approach as 'Nuclear Restoration Services Limited' will soon become the legal entity of the NRS brand. Though I can't find an online source for this, the plan has been communicated to NRS staff internally and there is a placeholder company ready to assume this role (see companies house for company no: 14967755). I think that once the legal entity becomes 'Nuclear Restoration Services Limited', a 'Nuclear Restoration Services' article should be established and any NRS content split out from the Magnox Ltd article into the NRS one, reverting this article to a record of Magnox Ltd pre-rebrand. I think this would better reflect the significant change the organisation has undergone - for what it's worth, the rebrand has been driven by a merger with another nuclear site licence company (Dounreay Site Restoration Limited), and it anticipates NRS taking ownership of decommissioning of 7 (currently operational) AGR sites in the future. I'd a
argue the purpose of the article would change significantly enough to warrant a new article. JonnyFellOver (talk) 20:47, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
