Wikipedia:Merging_and_moving_pages#Merging recommends merging two articles if they are on related subjects that have a large overlap, if at least one of them is very short and cannot or should not be expanded much, and if a short article requires the background material or context from a broader article in order for readers to understand it. I think it's better to have the info in one place, because readers will find it more useful. See also Who's Lovin' You, Hum Along and Dance, Respect (song), I'll Be There, I Heard It through the Grapevine, I Will Always Love You, Lady Marmalade, (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction (which is a featured article) and I'm Every Woman (which was merged after this AFD debate). I haven't even read anywhere that Duff's cover will definitely be released as a single. Extraordinary Machine 18:02, 18 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hilary said the sing wasn't being released as a single and won't have a video. And there's not much to say about the cover. Merging would be fine. Crumbsucker 12:41, 26 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cover by Marilyn Monroe???

[edit]

Since Marilyn Monroe died in the early sixties I find it rather difficult for her to cover a song of 1984. So she should not be listed with the other artists that have covered the song. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.142.233.120 (talk) 21:27, 13 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Rewrite lede?

[edit]

Two sentences are cited for being unsourced. I heard that, recently Featured Articles no longer requires citations in ledes and omits them from ledes. --George Ho (talk) 03:23, 17 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

American cover or non-American cover?

[edit]

I switched the European image with the American one. Care to comment? --George Ho (talk) 00:21, 20 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

New Wave

[edit]

I think that the "New Wave" genre should be added back in the genre slot. Many people and sources had notified this song as an New Wave song. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ezhno D (talkcontribs) 02:20, 2 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Composition

[edit]

The description of the sound sample (is it associated with this section?) does not match what the sound sample sounds like. It matches another part of the song. Someone has to change the audio file or the description, the two do not match at all. Createangelos (talk) 09:21, 4 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
