Matriarchal

[edit]

This needs more work. I just took one reference, found a newer source by him and added that, but I'm not pretending it is NPOV yet, although I did remove some weasel words - please don't tell the readers what should be noted. Dougweller (talk) 16:34, 11 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Bull-leaping improbable?

[edit]

This section probably needs to be removed. There is a separate page on the practise of bull-leaping complete with modern examples. Just because Marinato can't believe it does not cast scientific doubt since it was performed not only by Minoans but also by Basques and the Indus Valley Civilization.

"it now tends to be thought"

[edit]

This is excessively weaselly. "many scholars are now inclined to think" or "various respected authorities are of the firm opinion"? Not saying that these are the only options, they are just examples that are clear on what statements are being made, and by whom. 2A01:CB0C:CD:D800:1F8:9928:3FE9:994 (talk) 09:00, 24 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Can't see the difference myself. Anything to do with the subject is a burrow of weasels, as the lead explains. Johnbod (talk) 15:43, 24 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
