Translation

[edit]

I'm presently working on the Natori translation, which is almost done thanks to Jaredmellis. When I am finished cleanup I will start working on translating and adding to Miyagi. Would appreciate some thoughts from WikiProject Japan at some point on the relative importance of these articles, not that I am likely to change my course of action... I am working with what I know/can easily find out about, not with what is considered vital to a group project :) --Erk 23:07, 9 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

History

[edit]

Nothing appears to have happened in Mayagi betyween 1871 and 2011. Really? Nothing at all? Skinsmoke (talk) 18:28, 29 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sister State

[edit]

Can we include Miyagi's sister state, Delaware in the article? Starkiryu64 (talk) 08:48, 15 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Mr. Miyagi from Karate Kid

[edit]

I've long been told that Mr. Miyagi was named after this prefecture but I can't find a good source (my last edit got reverted instantly, so I'm assuming it must be false). Is there any information about this one way or the other? I think the article should (if one can find a source) either confirm or debunk this claim. 72.72.202.49 (talk) 12:27, 2 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
