Other than my comment above on the linking I think I've dealt with most of those, the quality of the article had slipped slightly as people added to it during the Olympics - Basement12 (T.C) 12:28, 8 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Section 05

[edit]
Miscellaneous
  • You may link “World and European junior”.
  • ”Riner was selected to compete for France at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, United Kingdom in the men's heavyweight event.[4]“ reference doesn’t cite this.
  • Same for the ref#6
  • “He won his sixth World Championship gold medal as part of the French side that won the team event.[16]”. Ref says that he won 5 gold medals.

Zia Khan 06:03, 19 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Ref#4, did suggest he was selected, it was refereing to him as a potential star of the event, but I've added an additional repeat ref after that sentence, though given the rest of the paragraph and the references contained within it, it probably isn't even needed.
  • Not sure what you'd have me link "World and European junior" to, we don't appear to have articles on those championships.
  • The NBC Ref #6 did have the relevant citation on the bio tab (the url was the same), but I've gotten around this by linking to a url that seems to be on the NBC mobile site.
  • Ref#16 "winning a record fifth world title before leading France to victory in the team event", 5 titles then another victory in the team event makes 6. I've added another citation that confirms the team win for France, again it says that he personally already had 5 world titles (this refers to his individual events), and repeated the nbc ref that confirms six - Basement12 (T.C) 09:54, 19 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Date of the ref was in the wrong parameter, easily sorted. I really don't see the need of a footnote, each of his medals is detailed and cited and a full list is included in the infobox medal record - Basement12 (T.C) 12:53, 19 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Lead

[edit]

A lead can and must summarize even a short article and this was forgotten in the GA review. Please create a lead that properly summarizes as laid out in WP:LEAD. It is the most important part of the article. Thanks Hekerui (talk) 16:38, 21 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
