Inaccuracy: "(he retired from the latter in July, 2005)"

[edit]

He taught two courses at UoA this past Spring (2008). —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wherewithal (talkcontribs) 10:21, 3 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm, was I wrong about him having retired? The two things are not necessarily contradictory; I think occasionally there are courses taught by profs who are officially retired. But I'll comment out the remark until someone can find a way to settle the question. --Trovatore (talk) 21:44, 3 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
He is most definitely retired from UoA. He had mentioned that there is forced retirement in Greece after a certain age, and he is past this age. Also, it is very common for professors to continue teaching well after they retire, going by the title emeritus professors. 68.5.115.22 (talk) 06:33, 31 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
