Ivan II

[edit]

Please note that the link here for Ivan II of Zeta led to Ivan II of Muscovy, until I fixed it and made a dab page; but the article for this Ivan II still needs to be written. Septentrionalis PMAnderson 16:45, 22 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Serbian monarchs?

[edit]
Resolved

I think that Isa-Beg and Isa-Beg Isaković do not belong to this template.

Isa Beg Isaković probably was ethnic Serb, but it is disputed that Isak-Beg was Serb. Even if they were both Serbs, they were not monarchs at all, i.e. not monarchs of Serbia. They were Ottoman timariots. I think that timariots were not monarchs who controled their feuds which were inherited by their sons, but they were administrative officers appointed by sultan. As far as I can see, Isak-Beg and Isa Beg Isaković, should not be listed within template with list of monarchs, especially Monarchs of Serbian states (whatever term Serbian states means) regardless of their ethnicity.

Also, this template does not belong to the article about Isak-Beg and Isa Beg Isaković. If anybody have different opinion, please bring it here. If not I will remove this template from article about Isak-Beg and I will remove Isak-Beg and Isa-Beg Isaković from this template, in reasonable period of time, say a week.--Antidiskriminator (talk) 11:54, 30 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
