Whyville was deleted because of lack of notability. This deletion was upheld at DRV. The article has been recreated without any further references and still no claims of deletion. Why can't it be speedy deleted again? Corvus cornix 22:36, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

So, if an article is speedy deleted, even if the deletion is upheld at DRV, if I want to recreate it, it has to go through AfD despite the DRV decision? Why should we ever bother to take speedy deletions through the DRV process, then, if they have to go through AfD every time anyway? Corvus cornix 22:44, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've taken this to Wikipedia talk:Deletion review. Corvus cornix 22:44, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why did you delete [1]. GoldQuest is indeed notable, it is a pyramid marketting company whose executives are wanted for fraud, it has defrauded ther sri lankan government of money, etc. Therefore there is no doubt as to its notabilty as it fullfills wikipedia's criteria for notability. I would be gratefull if you cold restore the article.Kerr avon 00:14, 23 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to know why you deleted Iceman (Rapper). It was a page that i had created of myself so, i would know if it was true or not. Also why did you delete it so quickly? it usually wiill have it up for days. I would really appreciate it if you could restore this page for me. GBpacker4 7 00:42, 25 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AfD

[edit]

Sorry, I don't know what I was doing for that AfD. Afd withdrawn. Thanks for notifying me of WP:JUSTAPOLICY. -=Elfin=-341 04:25, 25 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Could you undelete this as well? It was orphaned fair use after the italian american youth thing was deleted. Just to properly restore the article for the afd. Thanks. -N 22:37, 25 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Closure

[edit]

Um, I apologize for that. Literally fell asleep while closing a nomination, I hope you don't mind. Michaelas10 22:46, 25 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: flags

[edit]

What other errors are there? (I know the Greek flag looks weird, and some emblems of flags are omitted - I did it painfully in paint (!)) Will (We're flying the flag all over the world) 22:57, 25 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Andorra and Luxembourg were the easier ones, to be honest. I'll get onto uploading it ASAP. Will (We're flying the flag all over the world) 23:17, 25 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disappearance of Madeleine McCann

[edit]

You undid my edit without explanation. Why? Robinson weijman 19:14, 26 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the prompt and clear reply. However, it would have been more clear for me if you had supplied the reason why in the change comments. Having read your reason on my page, I understand now and am grateful for the explanation. Robinson weijman 20:32, 27 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Just wanted to say thanks for removing the Speedy delete tag on Paul Barron. I didn't create the article, but having contributed and being sure of his notability, I am glad that he won't be deleted. I will expand the article further when I get time. Cheers. --Jameboy 19:14, 26 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

hndis for Halberstam

[edit]

I have removed the hndis template. Please note that Chaim and Moshe, for example, do not have the same name, they merely share a surname. The natural article names are Chaim Halberstam and Moshe Halberstam, so no disambiguation is necessary. The addition of hndis changes it from a surname article (which is not a dab page) to a dab page (which is not an article), so it is not a trivial change. Happy editing! Can you tell me what else I need to say that I can put it here on wiki?

Thank you,

Economy section of Georgia

[edit]

Dear friend, I just want to let you know that I have been troubled on the economy section of Georgia that I wrote, which you really liked. There are user who simply wanted to delete it because of its pro-EU aspect and I am asking you, as a Dutchman to help me out. I am going to initiate voting on Talk:Georgia (country) and please vote! Thanks SosoMK 10:04, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
