Oro vision magazine
[edit]
Oro vision beauty magazine was a "futurist" and style "progressive" beauty and hair bi monthly (info needed) magazine come book, it was only seen usually in hair salons, it had Vidal Sassoon Rita rusk, and work and photos by famous or up and coming hairdressers stylists and photograhers. it was a vivid magazine, some would say a "carcrash" of bright futuristic hair sillouettes. More imformation is needed about this publication it was a good one that vanished and there is no trace of it anywhere but it was a very modern book in its day and an important one one at that. zotos were the people who backed the publication. it is thought that it ran from late 70s to about 1985. this of course would need clarification. stubb

The Theatre of the oppressed is a method elaborated by the Brazilian director Augusto Boal starting form the 60s, first in Brazil and then in Europe. This method uses theatre as means of knowledge and transformation of the interior reality in the social and relational field. The public becomes active, so that the "spect-actors" explore, show, analise and transform the reality in which they are living. Sources[edit]

A television series based upon Dumas’ The Three Musketeers, the twist being that d’Artagnan, the main character from the novel dies at the beginning of the first episode… The protagonist is Count Rochefort, an ex-Musketeer and Swiss Guard, now captain of the Cardinal’s Guard. Arriving at the scene of the young Gascon’s demise, he retrieves the letter given to the boy, by his father and takes it to it’s rightful recipient, Captain Treville of The King’s Musketeer… The characters in this version are much darker, the Musketeers; Athos, Aramis and Porthos are little more than mercenaries, using their Musketeer colours as cover for their various schemes… Cardinal Richelieu is no longer the villain of the piece, merely a politician trying to keep his beloved country stable while war rages all over Europe. The Queen, Anne of Austria is closer playing to a more traditionally villainous role, with her father, The King of Spain, pulling the strings. Her affair with the English emicary, The Duke of Buckingham one such example of her seemingly suicidal naivety, covering a mind far more astute than she lets on… King Louis XIII is presented as a weak monarch, much in the same way as he is in the novel, with a little insanity thrown in for good measure. He has lived in the confinement of his royal palace since childhood and has little or no knowledge about the world outside his window… The pilot script was pitched at the BBC in early 2007 and turned down, it will now be revised and pitched elsewhere...

Nikolo Balkanski studied fine art in Bulgaria and Finland and exhibited his first one-man show at age twenty-one. He moved after finishing his studies in Helsinki University of Art to United States. He built a strong following in Europe as master of portraiture and landscapes, with major exhibitions in Bulgaria, Finland, Sweden, England, France and the United States. He is highly regarded as an insiprational teacher and mentor. Balkanski's work has been exhibited with Artists of America, the Colorado Governor's Invitational, where he received Collector's Choice award in 1999, Great American Artists, Artists of the West, and Arts for the Parks, where he won Best Landscape in 1995. Born in Sofia, Bulgaria, Nikolo Balkanski currently lives in Lakewood, Colorado. His work is represented by Hayden-Hays Gallery, Colorado Springs; Gallery East, Loveland; Borsini - Burr Galleries, Half Moon Bay, Calif,; Spirits in the Wind Gallery, Golden, Colo,; Weatherburn Gallery, Naples, Fla,; and Knox Galleries, Denver, Beaver Creek, Colo,, and Harbor Springs, Mich. Nikolo Balkanski plays with light and texture and employs strong thick brush strokes to convey a complete image. Within his landscapes, pallet knives layer pebble upon rock, creating depth until streams appear to trickle from their frames. "For me it is a real luxury to work on location." Nikolo said of his opportunity to paint such things as mountain scenes in the field. Since his move to the States, his work has undergone a natural metamorphosis. The subjects he paints are not the only things that have changed, but his techniques as well. "Before I did the Baltic Sea, and now I do the mountain streams of Colorado." Art critics call Balkanski an impressionist - but more complex. Upon seeing Nikolo's exhibition in London, John Allen described his work as "Alert, a moment of being, engaged with a world that could dissolve to chaos but harmonized by attention...moment of meaning the fateful conjunction of type, personality and environment." The painter's years of work have produced a good variety of subject and color which appear in galleries and museums across the United States and Europe. He received his formal training in Bulgaria and Finland and currently lives and works in Denver, Colorado. Ole Bjoern was born 21.03.1972, and got his breakthrough as a striker in Molde F.K in 1995, where he became part of "The three S's", together with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Arild Stavrum. Before that, Ole Bjoern had an unsuccessful period in the English club Oldham (1993). Continuing his good run at Molde, Ole once again became an interesting name in England, and in 1996 he went back to England and Bradford. After a period in Bradford, he then returned for further play in Norway, signing for the Norwegian club F.C Lyn. In Lyn, Ole was reeducated as a left-defender, but without success. Starting playing as a striker again, Ole became a vital part of the Lyn squad, and became the clubs topp goalscorer in the 2002 season, securing Lyn a bronze medal. Leaving Lyn, Ole played for one season in Hoenfoss B.K in the Norwegian Addecoliga (First Division), and retired from a great career after this season. KDS on-demand end-to-end software solution, are used by corporation to manage travelers to book their journeys and manage their expense claims online, whilst simultaneously allowing employers to enforce corporate travel policies.
- T&E is one of the greatest areas of controllable expenditure in most companies, and yet one of the least managed and optimized. - The complexity and rapid evolution of the travel industry value chain generates significant inefficiencies but also numerous cost saving opportunities for corporations. - No player had yet unleashed the full power of web-based technologies and an on-demand approach in the T&E space. - No company had yet delivered an end-to-end T&E solution that combined an intuitive online self-booking travel tool with an efficient travel and expense reporting system.
KDS solutions are used today by thousands of enterprises around the world, with implementations in over 30 countries. KDS serves customers of all sizes, from major multinational corporations with highly complex requirements through to SME businesses needing ‘off the shelf’, easy implemented solutions.

Kirsty Newton is a bass guitarist, keyboard player and vocalist. She plays in the band Siskin with Galen Ayers, and also with The Distractions, Mitch Benn's backing group. In this latter capacity she has appeared numerous times on the BBC, on Radio 4 in "The Now Show" and on Radio 2 in "Crimes Against Music", as well as on two CDs. Notable vocal performances with the Distractions include all the vocals on "Now He's Gone" and the voice of "famous TV star" on "West End Musical", both from the album Too Late To Cancel. Kirsty can also, coincidentally, be seen briefly in the audience of Derren Brown's 2006 TV Special "Something Wicked This Way Comes" (she catches a Daily Mail thrown into the audience as part of the reveal for the final trick). The Illinois Council on Responsible Fatherhood is the first governmental initiative of its kind in Illinois and will serve as a model for other states across the country seeking to restore responsible fatherhood as a societal norm in all communities. The Illinois Legislature established the Council as a statewide commission under the office of Gov. Rod Blagojevich in 2003 and was extended by executive order in 2006. Jeffery M. Leving, a Chicago attorney, serves as its chair. “Countless studies and mounting anecdotal evidence continue to demonstrate how children who grow up in father-absent homes are much more likely to be poor, to use drugs, to experience educational, emotional and behavioral problems, to be victims of child abuse and to engage in criminal behavior,” Leving concluded. The Council uses feedback from the forums to analyze regional differences and identify solutions to promote the positive involvement of fathers in the lives of their children in Illinois. These findings are then presented to the Governor and State Legislatures.

He is the author of two books. “Fathers’ Rights” (Basic Books), published in 1997, presents hard-hitting and fair advice for every father involved in a custody dispute, and “Divorce Wars” (HarperCollins) is a field guide to the winning tactics, preemptive strikes, and top maneuvers when divorce gets ugly. His past experience includes co-authorship of the Illinois Joint Custody Law, and testimony before both branches of the Illinois Legislature on Joint Custody, Grandparent's Visitation and Child Support Accountability bills. He lectures locally and nationally on family law issues. His law practice is concentrated in Matrimonial and Family Law and he heads a team of strategic and aggressive attorneys at his law practice in Chicago. Leving was the Chicago Attorney from the Elian Gonzalez case. He represented Manuel Gonzalez, at Juan Miguel's request, to be designated as Elian's care giver in the early stages of the federal case. Leving was appointed as Chair of the Council on Responsible Fatherhood for the State of Illinois by Governor Rod Blagojevich. Leving is also the publisher of Leving’s Divorce Magazine, a magazine for divorced men that focuses on parenting and men’s legal issues.

Lens sizes are often indicated with a measure in inch, referring to the lens diagonal. However the indication does not mean that e.g. With a lens on 1”inch” diagonal a image with a diagonal of 1 inch or 25.4mm can be projected in the image plane without vignetting or severe distortion. The relation between lens diagonal in “inch” and effective diagonal of the image, rather comes from times where images were acquired with electron tubes, and where e.g. a 1inch tube had an image diagonal of 16mm. Due to the non linearity of the electron tubes the relation between lens diagonal in “inch” and effective diagonal in the image plane is non linear. The relation can be seen in the following table: Lens size in "inch" to image diagonal in mm

In 2001 Anderson and Bushman first came up with the concept of the GAM (Genaralised Aggression Model) primarily to explain the impact violent media can have on cognitive thought. their theory suggests that playing violent games develops aggressive beliefs which in predisposes players thoughts to those of aggression there by promoting future violent behaviour. Globalization is bad because it hurts people. It makes the peoples sad. They are not happy. Every four seconds one person who was forced to globalize cries. The poor people are hurt by the evil that the large globalized countries bring. The goal of 68% of all sweatshops is to work people untill they die on the sweatshop floor. That isn't cool. Noam Chomsky said that "What is called 'capitalism'is basically a system of corporate mercantilism, with huge and largely unaccountable private tyrannies exercising vast control over the economy, political systems, and social and cultural life, operating in close cooperation with powerful states that intervene massively in the domestic economy and international society." Thats what's up, yo. 48.2231% of all major international corporations just want to take advantage of cheap, uneducated labor. Chin Wang Bampulat of Vietnam said that "Globazation killed my family. They worked my wives and children untill they died of too much working." Sweatshops kill an average of 18000 people every month. Globalization also costs 17 Americans their jobs each day. The percentage of outsourcing increaces exponentally with each passing quarter. Pat Magroin stated that "If the trend continues, Americans will be jobless by 2189." Products built outside the U.S are of lesser quality. On average, cars made in sweatshops break down 48% more than those that are made by workers in the U.S. The low pay causes the workers to take no pride in their work and poor products follow. "Offshoring and outsourcing...[are]...geeky terms favored by bureaucrats and bean counters." Nobody likes globalization except nerds and people who enjoy counting. They are gay. Therfore anyone who likes globalization is gay too. Passing Places, a Contemporary Scottish Text by Steven Greenhorn, chronicles the plight of two Motherwell boys, Alex (an employee in a local sports shop) and Brian (unemployed, but apparently in a perpetual state of self-education), as they flee from Alex's psycotic boss Binks (owner of aforementioned sports shop, who is able to converse with his brother Ronnie, who died at birth) after stealing a surfboard from the sports shop. They hit the road in a run-down Lada, and make for the one place they think they will be safe, Thurso. Along the way, they encounter many weird and wonderful characters, make new friends, and fall in love with the Scotland that they have never been able to get to know, until now. Central themes: Poverty, Unemployment, Education, Self-discovery, Friendship. Minor themes: The Stigma of Mental Illness, Crime, Exploration.
