Indications are that this is a rail point which someone hoped would grow into a town, but which never did. Searching was not helped by Google's insistence on giving me hits about people named Rice and about Riceville, Iowa, but I got nothing solid. Mangoe (talk) 03:13, 24 July 2024 (UTC)

- Delete: I can find a passing mention in a history book: [1], and the place appears on USGS maps, but never as more than a couple of houses, which is what it is today. If sources appear I could be persuaded to change to keep, but not with what we have now. WeirdNAnnoyed (talk) 14:37, 24 July 2024 (UTC)
- Also: Note there is a Riceville in Crawford County, Pennsylvania, making it a lot harder to find relevant info. WeirdNAnnoyed (talk) 14:39, 24 July 2024 (UTC)
