  • Makes this edit: [33] and this comment when it's reverted: [34]. An hour later, Hunkcued20 restores it: [35]. Both have been edit-warring about this point in several articles, that the number of Brazilians in France should include those in French Guiana.

New account repeating the behavior of falsely inflating immigrant population figures related to France. Their first edit was to continue a long edit war about 110,550 Brazilians in France: [45] and [46], compare with Johnlondon20: [47], Alancity20: [48]. This edit: [49] reinstates those of sock Hunkcued20 and IP 88.136.189.166: [50]. Also continuing an edit war increasing Columbians in France to 100,000+ and reducing to 90,313 in the UK: [51], same as previously reported: 88.136.189.166: [52], Citypeter20: [53], 92.95.149.68: [54], [55], [56]; Citypeter20: [57]; Johnlondon20: [58], etc. There are several other examples of continuing edit wars and other habits.

Account has similar username to previous AlanCity20, Johnlondon20. The IP is the same static IP as blocked before. Both started making the same disruptive edits again as soon as the previous three-month block expired. Falsely inflating the population figures of France and French diaspora, insisting on combining figures for France and its overseas territories, and various people being French. Same cross-wiki abuse.   • Cordless Larry, not going to comment as a CU, but if you as an admin feel the evidence says it is the same person and they are being disruptive you can block on your own without the need to report to SPI. Came upon IP 88 while cleaning up after the recent SPI confirming Portugaltheo20 as a sock of AlanCity20. That IP 88 is another one, seemed obvious to me, due to their similar attention to France and French topics, placing anything to do with France in a flattering light, and exaggerating (and sometimes inventing) data concerning population statistics and economic statistics, claims of French citizenship especially of athletes, im/emigration figures, and List of biggest/highest/richest/strongest/most-widespread somethings (where France figures reasonably high on the list). One real tell is an article that has tabular numerical data with France and UK in adjacent rows (or separated by only two or three rows) with the UK on top, and they change one French figure just enough to reverse the order, and place glorious France above perfidious Albion. And not least, frequent reversions by numerous editors due to the exaggerations, lack of sourcing, failed verification, and occasional counterfeit figures or other data. And even using the same dodgy sources.

All the accounts and IPs have the same pattern, trying to boost the mentions of France in various articles by adding unsourced claims, wether it makes sense or not ( [80], [81], [82], [83]). They also have used the same or similar edit summary style either in the same article (for example [84], [85], [86]) or in different ones (for example [87], [88]). The main focus of the edits of the majority of them seem to be highlight the (supposed) French role as a belligerant or supporter in various conflicts (for example [89], [90], [91]).   • Well, 92.94.168.235 is doing the same stuff it was doing before that one-month block, so I'm guessing it's the same person behind it. Blocked for three months.   • This is from the same /32 range that was blocked in the last case in the archive. I've blocked the /64, but my guess would be that they are bouncing around that wider range - keep an eye out, let us know if they come back and we can consider extending the block (there would be some collateral). @Zenomonoz: I'm not a novice editor. What's your point? That doesn't make me a sock. If you make big deletions of content (some of which was reliably sourced and dated to 2022) you can expect to be reverted regardless of who originally added the content. You seem to have a hard time distinguishing cause from effect. The reason you were reverted is because you edit like you own Wikipedia. Keep seeing This Edit of a list of 'buildings over 100m' posted on List of tallest buildings in Europe. This latest edit being made today (4 November 2023) by an account that was created on 2 November 2023. The edit has previously been reverted back on multiple ocassions for lacking sufficient citation and being ambigious in nature. Multiple users including myself have reverted this edit, however, a new account pastes the exact list again a day or two later. It is important to note that the accounts noted in each diff listed below matches the usernames and IP addresses noted above, and the edit itself mentioned above is virtually identical in each instance. Listed previous instances of this edit for the above linked page: 2 NOV 23, 1 NOV 23, 29 OCT 23, 19 OCT 23, 18 OCT 23, 3 OCT 23.

A similar trend of near questionable potential socks can be found on the page List of tallest buildings in the European Union: (4 NOV 23, 2 NOV 23, 29 OCT 23, 19 OCT 23).
