I blocked and tagged new account AK24M yesterday based on behavior. Today Jaat24 (notice the 24 in both usernames) started editing the same pages and creating new pages in the same topic area. Jaat24 is not a new account. They are older than the master. However, there is a 7-month gap in their edits from October 29, 2021, until today. Everyone is editing the same articles and topics, but Cartoon Network (Indian TV channel) stands out. The two listed socks, the master, and another sock, User:Jk deenu, have all edited the article this month. AK24M made this edit, part of which is identical to this edit by Jaat24. Various mobile platforms are used by all accounts. I am requesting a CU to sort all this out. Bbb23 (talk) 12:49, 29 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

    • Bbb23--holy moly. OK, yeah, confirmed (with User:DD012), but the two ranges they're on are a frigging mess, with tons of SPIs listed in the logs. As it happens I blocked two of those ranges this morning, following Ad Orientem's block of User:Wikilovestransparency, who I think is a different editor engaged in different assholery. I don't think there's a point in going through the larger ranges than the ones I blocked, unless there's a CU who gets paid to do it. No, I don't think Zendrago is a sockpuppet of Amanheheh. I just checked his edits, does not edit Turner India pages often as Aman's socks did. He mostly just modifies his userboxes and some other shit like that. He also does not go as extreme as Aman. I also know that he has a YouTube channel, and tbh his videos are pretty good.   • A couple of things to point out here. First, Drtsgh was not found "unlikely" but "possilikely". Second the latest link provided by Yuugone is an admission by the master on en.wiki that OCWA files and Drtsgh belong to them. Based on that admission, I am blocking and tagging Drtsgh. The sock is calling me Hello "Ak Shit" [50] and the previous sock named Jaat24 told his name as same. [51]. The sock is sharing same editing patterns and behavior. One of the sock was abusing me on Hindi Wikipedia by calling me "Yuu" [52].

See this [53], one of the sock of sockmaster was calling a user by strange names. The sockmaster uses socks to call anyone with strange name.

  • Did a bit investigating myself, and there are some weak similarities [56][57][58][59][60][61][62] but the problem I have is that this is a pretty generic editing pattern (e.g [63] by the reporter). Other again weak similarities are [64][65] and [66][67][68] and [69] which resembles additions made by other socks. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 09:07, 5 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
    • I have serious reservations about this SPI in general. It seems like the filers tend to report any newish account that edits popular Indian cartoon articles, and I'm fairly sure that a few users have been incorrectly blocked under this case before. In addition, although I may be wrong, I get the impression that some of the players involved know each other off-wiki and may have ulterior motives behind these reports (see previous filings referencing social media accounts etc.) The conduct of the alleged socks is often not all that more disruptive than the filers'. Discovery India which was created by DESIULTRA one of the blocked sockpuppet also Amanheheh337 wanted to changed their name to YuuGoSock and Yuugonck and their name is "Yuukedits" they have "Yuu" in common.   • So if 'Yuu' is comman then you are one of them. Please see this Yuugone and Yuu Haru Angelo, your name was Yuugone and Yuu Haru Angelo. Means you are also one of them.
  • Yuu means gentleness," "kindness," or "excellence and my name means Excellence edits. I made edits to that page as this page is notable and I did research for it. I am a new user I will slowly start to edit other pages too.

  • This ID is a sockpuppet as this utilizer is editing same pages. That page was engendered by sockpuppet. You can check history of that page, It was edited by virtually all sockpuppets. I am sure this id is a sock and doing something to engender handle this Id. That page should also be deleted. As on that there are too much sock edits. @Shaan Sengupta Its peculiar that this utilizer looks kindred to both sockmasters. Yes his unblock request was same as Marxist Economist, may be he is a sockpuppet of Marxist Economist. But his deportment is additionally like Amanheheh337. Marxist Economist mainly edited only political pages but this utilizer is editing other pages that is withal making him homogeneous to Amanheheh337. Either he is a sockpuppet of Amanheheh337 or Marxist economist or it is someone else. Maybe these two sockmasters ken each other and they have orchestrated to inscribe all this. I too reported Marxist Economist once to admin board as he was promoting his party but nothing happened, his unblock request was same which denotes they ken each other.
