The editing area of these three recently created IDs is same (Abhishek Sharma (cricketer, born 2000) related). While an obvious COI is apparent, the person behind might be the same as well. The image was first added by the suspected sockpuppeteer, readded by a new user after deletion at commons [1], again re-added by another [2]. Note the addition of supposed girlfriends and liaisons (not adhering to WP:BLPPRIVACY) [3], something similar done by the sockmaster [4], for which they even edit warred [5] after @JBW:'s revert [6]. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 11:03, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Clerk, CheckUser, and/or patrolling admin comments

Thank you for this report, Fylindfotberserk. The similarity of these accounts on en.wikipedia is enough to raise strong suspicions, but I also noted that Baazigar1993 and BlackthornePaul are both globally locked for cross-wiki abuse, so I looked at the global editing history. There are 18 projects on which all three accounts have edited in their very short careers, and the similarities among the accounts over all those projects are stunning, making this one of the most glaringly obvious sockpuppet cases I have ever seen. I have blocked Sunak2310, and I shall semiprotect for a while the article which has been the focus of their attention. I don't think there's any point in a CheckUser; it isn't necessary for these accounts, and they have all edited soon after being created, which doesn't suggest that sleepers are likely.
