This is a collection of discussions on the deletion of articles related to South Korea. It is one of many deletion lists coordinated by WikiProject Deletion sorting. Anyone can help maintain the list on this page.
- Adding a new AfD discussion
- Adding an AfD to this page does not add it to the main page at WP:AFD. Similarly, removing an AfD from this page does not remove it from the main page at WP:AFD. If you want to nominate an article for deletion, go through the process on that page before adding it to this page. To add a discussion to this page, follow these steps:
- Edit this page and add {{Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/PageName}} to the top of the list. Replace "PageName" with the relevant article name, i.e. the one on the existing AFD discussion. Also, indicate the title of the article in the edit summary as it is particularly helpful to add a link to the article in the edit summary. When you save the page, the discussion will automatically appear.
- You should also tag the AfD by adding {{subst:delsort|South Korea|~~~~}} to it, which will inform editors that it has been listed here. You may place this tag above or below the nomination statement or at the end of the discussion thread.
- There are a few scripts and tools that can make this easier.
- Removing a closed AfD discussion
- Closed AfD discussions are automatically removed by a bot.
- Other types of discussions
- You can also add and remove other discussions (prod, CfD, TfD etc.) related to South Korea. For the other XfD's, the process is the same as AfD (except {{Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/PageName}} is used for MFD and {{transclude xfd}} for the rest). For PRODs, adding a link with {{prodded}} will suffice.

There are only two articles worth of media coverage on this record as of writing this and neither of them are even long enough to prove its notability. - Draftify per nom, there is not enough coverage to meet WP:NALBUMS criterion 1 or to indicate that the subject meets the other criteria. Given that it was a recent surprise release and that the artist's other work has been covered by Pitchfork, Consequence of Sound, Far Out Magazine, The Fader, and Paste, I think it can be reasonably assumed that significant coverage will start appearing soon that can be used to build a draft until the notability criteria to move to the mainspace is met. - Keep: This was released only few days ago on streaming services and so there haven’t been many international reviews yet, but there has been a few like https://www.brooklynvegan.com/mavi-oso-oso-parannoul-fucked-up-ravyn-lenae-larry-june-reviews/. There’s more media coverage in Korean but they might fit in the category of routine music coverage. It’s Rate Your Music’s #1 album of 2024 thanks to Parannoul’s dishard fans, PuppyMonkey thinks this will be notable, there’s no point in removing a page that will be notable in a few weeks. The person is Not notable to be added in the Wikipedia. The article is entirely promotional. The references are just some 'fashion style' non reliable non notable sources.

- Keep: I remove the fancruft and looked at the sources presented in the article and elsewhere. Being a former bandmember of AA (band) and being on Bigg Boss has attracted quite bit of press, making Blp1e inapplicable. Discard some of the unreliable sources, PR, and focusing on features such as https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/tv/news/hindi/k-pop-singer-aoora-ventures-into-the-tamil-music-industry/articleshow/107967147.cms and https://www.dailyo.in/social/who-is-k-pop-singer-aoora-and-why-was-he-singing-woh-kisna-hai-in-mathura-41781 reveal Aoora’s notability.
