Chapter 1 (S 4)
An Act to amend and reenact Sections 6, 7 and 12 of Chapter 22 of the Acts of the Assembly of 1946, approved February 18, 1946, relating to the creation of a commission known as "The Peninsula Airport Commission," and providing for the establishment and operation of airports and air navigation facilities by such commission, and prescribing the rights, powers, duties and fuctions of such commission, and of the counties, cities and towns for which such commission was created.
Chapter 5 (S 27)
An Act to amend and reenact Section 5 of Article II of Chapter 46 of the Acts of Assembly of 1930, approved March 27, 1930, known as the Military Code of Virginia, the section relating to the Adjutant General.
Chapter 6 (S 33)
An Act to amend and reenact Sections 1 and 5 of Chapter 431 of the Acts of Assembly of 1922, approved March 24, 1922, relating to the manufacture and sale or offering for sale of paint, turpentine or linseed oil or any substitute therefor.
Chapter 7 (S 60)
An Act to amend Chapter 184 of the Acts of Assembly of 1934, approved March 27, 1934, which provided for the management, control, maintenance and operation of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts by adding a new section numbered 1-a conveying certain rights to the Museum.
Chapter 10 (H 14)
An Act to ratify, validate and confirm all proceedings heretofore taken by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, by the Hampton roads Sanitation District and the Hampton roads Sanitation Commission and by the State Health Commissioner in connection with the withdrawal by said City from Hampton Roads Sanitation District, and authorizing said City to establish, construct, improve, enlarge, maintain and operate a sewage disposal system.

Chapter 14 (H 47)
An Act to amend and reenact Section 5, as amended, of Chapter 322 of the Acts of Assembly of 1899-1900, approved February 14, 1900, which incorporated the town of Stanley, in Page County, Virginia, the section relating to election and terms of office of the council of the town.
Chapter 15 (H 48)
An Act to amend and reenact Section 4, as amended, of Chapter 96 of the Acts of Assembly of 1872-73, in force February 21, 1873, which incorporated the town of Lebanon, in Russell County, the section relating to powers of the council of the town.
Chapter 16 (H 50)
An Act to validate and provide for the legal effect of certain records in the offices of the clerks of court of certain cities.
Chapter 17 (H 52)
An Act to amend and reenact Sections 1 and 3, as amended, of Chapter 573, Acts of Assembly of 1926, relating to parking of vehicles in the Capitol Square, so as to reserve certain areas for parking and to confer jurisdiction as to violations of the Act.
Chapter 18 (H 69)
An Act to amend and reenact Chapter 225 of the Acts of Assembly of 1940, approved March 16, 1940, as amended, relating to general registrars in certain counties.
Chapter 21 (S 98)
An Act to authorize the governing bodies of the counties to make gifts of money and other property in aid of non-profit making hospitals
Chapter 24 (S 55)
An Act to amend and reenact Section 4 of Chapter 461 of the Acts of Assembly of 1924, approved March 21, 1924, setting forth qualifications for license as real estate salesman or broker.
Chapter 25 (S 56)
An Act to amend and reenact Section 7, as amended, of Chapter 461 of the Acts of Assembly of 1924, approved March 21, 1924, relating to details of licenses issued to real estate salesmen and brokers and the fees to be charged therefor.
Chapter 26 (S 57)
An Act to amend and reenact Chapter 172 of the Acts of Assembly of 1946, approved March 12, 1946, dealing with bonds that may be required of real estate salesmen and brokers, by requiring the Secretary of the Commonwealth as obligee.
Chapter 27 (S 66)
An Act relating to tobacco; to create the Virginia Bright Flue-Cured Tobacco Commission and to prescribe its powers and duties; to promote the sale, consumption and exportation of Virginia bright flue-cured tobacco by providing for campaigns of education, advertising, publicity, sales promotion and reseaerch; to levy an excise tax on certain tobacco in Virginia, to provide for its collection, and to appropriate the revenue derived from it; and to provide penalties for violations of this act.
Chapter 28 (S 226)
An Act to authorize the circuit courts of certain counties to extend the time for completing the reassessment of real estate and complying with the provisions of Section 247 of the Tax Code of Virginia.
Chapter 29 (H 40)
An Act to repeal Chapter 19 of the Acts of Assembly of 1934, approved February 15, 1934, relating to participation by high school students in literary and athletic contests and events thereof.
Chapter 30 (H 81)
An Act to amend Ch. 94 of the Acts of Assembly of 1934, approved March 7, 1934, and known as the Alcoholic Beverage Control Act by adding a section numbered 31-b relating to certain elections under the act.
