Weather Forecast For Tuesday PM, September 10th, 2024

A fair sky overnight with low temperatures still comfortable from the mid 50s to lower 60s.

Increasing cloud cover for Wednesday with afternoon highs in the mid/upper 80s.

Our late week forecast for Thursday and Friday will be impacted by Francine moving inland.Our local rain chances increase Thursday and Friday as rain moves in from the south. Breezy both days with gusts Thursday Afternoon in the 20-30mph range and those higher gusts over southern parts of our viewing area. Same for Friday with some occasional gusts from 20-30mph.

Some thunderstorms are possible Thursday Night and into Friday. The overall severe threat is low, but we will closely monitor this.

As the remnants of Francine weaken and move farther away to the north and west to start the weekend, the shower and storm chances locally become scattered and less in coverage. So, Saturday is not an all day washout with highs back around 80s. Some sun and a few scattered showers Sunday with mid 80s.

WEDNESDAY: Becoming cloudy with an afternoon high in the mid/upper 80s. Wind from the SE at 5-10 mph.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Cloudy with showers and rain starting late. Lows in the mid 60s.

THURSDAY:Cloudy, breezy with periods of rain moving through. Highs in the mid 70s. An increasing wind from the ESE at 10-20mph with gusts from 25-30mph.
