Licensing Window Information: Please be advised that our licensing windows are now located on the first floor. JR36047 Safety Standards Elevator Inspector - Tulsa (Closes 8/19): Click here to apply

  • Inspects elevators for proper set-up, electrical and mechanical safety and operation using a check list in the manufacturer’s manual; observes elevators during operation for compliance with safety guidelines; inspects all elevator wiring for compliance with the requirements of the National Electric Code, NFPA 70.
  • Issues certificates of operation elevators that meet all requirements; re-inspects elevators that do not pass inspection after being repaired.
  • Completes inspection reports listing all violations, necessary steps to correct them and a time frame to bring violations into compliance; consults with owners or operators to explain violations and what is required to bring the unit back into compliance.
