Office of the Secretary

New Location: Starting September 9, 2024, “the Office of Documents and Administrative Issuances” and “the Office of Notary Commissions and Authentications” will be in a new location at 899 North Capitol Street, NE. The Office of Documents will move to Suite 8700, and the Office of Notary will move to Suite 8100.

In preparation for the move, the Office of Notary Commissions and Authentications will close for walk-in customers on Tuesday, September 10, 2024.

It will resume its regular office hours on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at 899 North Capitol Street, NE, Suite 8100. Open for walk-ins 9 am - 1 pm. Phone: 202-727-3117.

All mailings for the Office Notary will still be sent to 441 4th Street, NW, Suite 810 South, Washington, DC 20001.
