  1. Jeffrey Marshall and his wife Judy Smith are speaking out after they became overwhelmed with deliveries as part of a brushing scam. The Scottsdale couple received multiple packages from Amazon and UPS containing items they had not ordered, all of which were shipped to their address under a different name. A brushing scam occurs when online sellers ship products to random addresses so that they can generate a tracking number and submit legitimate-looking fake reviews to boost their sales. According to the Federal Trade Commission, you are legally entitled to keep unordered merchandise shipped to your home as a free gift. However, you should alert the retailer and confirm that your accounts and payment information have not been compromised by checking for strange charges and proactively changing your passwords. 2. A man is in the hospital after being shot in the foot early Wednesday morning in Old Town Scottsdale. The incident occurred near Wells Fargo and Sixth avenues around 2:30 a.m. The suspect left before police arrived and was still on the run. Details surrounding the shooting are under investigation, and the victim is in stable condition. (Arizona's Family)
  3. A man's body was found in the Scottsdale canal on Tuesday afternoon around 2 p.m. in the area of Sweetwater Avenue and Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard. Firefighters assisted police officers in recovering the body. Additional information is not available at this time. (Arizona's Family)
