  1. A crash involving a golf cart and a Scottsdale police patrol vehicle occurred around 4 a.m. on Friday morning. Scottsdale Road was closed in both directions just north of McDowell Road as the incident was investigated, but no injuries were reported. Details surrounding the crash are still limited, though it appears the incident may have occurred near Bones Cabaret. (Arizona's Family, Scottsdale Police Department via Twitter)
  2. Save the dates! Scottsdale Arts' Canal Convergence will present "The Power of Play" starting Nov. 3 and running through Nov. 12. The program will "explore the power and influence that play has in our lives through engaging public art, performances and programming." At this free event, guests can enjoy "live music and dance performances, creative workshops, educational tours and activities, food trucks, and a beer and wine garden." (Broadway World)
  3. BHS Kinetics, an international trucking company that "supports semiconductor manufacturing," plans to open its first U.S. office at SkySong near Scottsdale and McDowell roads. The opening date has yet to be announced, but current and future job openings can be found here. (KTAR.com)
  4. Botco.ai, a Scottsdale-based "artificial intelligence chatbot software company," was selected as a recipient of the Google for Startups Latino Founders Fund. In addition to ongoing Google product support and mentorship, the company will receive "$150,000 without giving up equity in return and $100,000 in Google Cloud credits."
