  1. A Scottsdale family is asking for help locating Ethan Ristow, who is still missing after disappearing near Highway 87 and Shea Boulevard on Aug. 20, 2021. After enjoying lunch in Fountain Hills and time at a popular splash pad with his wife and two sons, Ethan tried an off-road trail near the area. However, he had engine problems and went to look for help. After waiting for Ethan to return for a few hours, his wife and sons walked to the highway and got a ride from a good Samaritan. Ethan was not seen again after he went missing on Salt River Pima-Maricopa tribal land, and his family is asking anyone with possible information to call the Salt River Police at 480-850-9230. 2. Scottsdale's first ever StoryWalk, which encourages families to engage in literacy and physical activity, is now open at Rio MontaΓ±a Park, 11180 N. 132nd St. Presented by the Scottsdale Public Library in collaboration with Scottsdale Parks and Recreation, residents can stroll along the walkable path and read pages from children's books that are printed and placed in displays along the way. The first book featured is "Saguaro's Gifts" by Kurt Cyrus, and books will be changed out regularly. (City of Scottsdale, Scottsdale Public Library via Facebook)
  3. The Arabian National Breeder Finals will take place at WestWorld of Scottsdale from Sept. 13 through Sept. 16! Breeders and purebred Arabian horse enthusiasts can enjoy this "unprecedented halter/breeding showcase opportunity that offers prize money and marketing opportunities." You can find more information here. (City of Scottsdale)
  4. Toka CafΓ© & Grill is now open and serving up southeast Europe dishes at the Scottsdale Air Park, 7678 E. Greenway Road, Suite 104. Guests can enjoy a croissant with Nutella for breakfast, "homemade Albanian burek" for lunch, and homemade baklava and coconut balls for dessert. You can check out the full menu here.
