  1. The city of Scottsdale is encouraging residents to participate in community conversations by joining Speak Up Scottsdale, the new "online community designed to foster continuous, meaningful conversation among residents, businesses and the city." Scottsdale relies on the perspectives and opinions of residents to guide city initiatives and policies, and nearly 200 participants in Speak Up Scottsdale are already giving their feedback and opinions. Visit SpeakUpScottsdale.com to join the conversation! (City of Scottsdale)
  2. A Scottsdale resident received a frightening scam phone call this past Tuesday. The resident received a call with what sounded like her daughter's voice "crying and sobbing, claiming to have been robbed and abducted." The caller identified himself as a DEA agent and told a story of the resident's daughter witnessing a drug deal, calling 911, and being abducted by the drug dealers because she reported them. The caller claimed that she had been tracked to a Scottsdale apartment complex and that authorities had the building surrounded. However, the resident became suspicious when the caller told her to isolate herself from her husband to ensure their conversation was secure, and she called her daughter on another phone line and confirmed the story wasn't true. The phone number was reported to the Scottsdale Police Department, and the incident is currently under investigation. (NewsBreak)
  3. Are you a fan Z'Tejas and wish you knew the secrets to making some of their menu items? Well, you are in luck!
