  1. Western Spirit: Scottsdale's Museum of the West has been named "No. 1 Western Museum" by "True West" magazine! The award recognizes "outstanding institutions that embody the spirit of the American West," and potential recipients are evaluated based on their "exhibits, facilities, multi-media and online accessibility, events, and promotion of historic/cultural resources."   2. The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa, 6902 E. Greenway Parkway, is hosting "Disco in the Desert" on Saturday, Aug. 5 at 8 p.m. The '70s-themed event features live music from "The Polyesters," a light-up dance floor, and prizes for best 70s attire.   3. The W Scottsdale, 7277 E. Camelback Road, is bringing back "What She Said" on Thursday, Aug. 24 from 4 to 8 p.m. In honor of Women's Equality Day, the speaker series will feature a panel of CEOs, designers, creators, founders, and celebrities who are "pushing the limits" and inspiring others, a fashion show, pop-up shops, and a "Beauty Tutorial Corner."   4. Tickets are now on sale for Junk in the Trunk Vintage market, which returns to WestWorld of Scottsdale Sept. 15-17!
