5 Solano County Residents Identified In Wrong-Way Highway 4 Crash

A wrong-way crash killed four people in one car and the driver in another on Highway 4 Thursday. Among the dead were 3 children under 10.

PITTSBURG, CA — The five people killed in the wrong-way Highway 4 crash in Contra Costa County were all Solano County residents.

Among those killed were three children under the age of 10, the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office confirmed to Patch.

The crash killed four people in one vehicle and the driver in another car, the California Highway Patrol said.

The five dead have been identified as Lasaundra Goode, 44, of Vacaville, Tiara Tucker, 27, Mariah Mihailovic, 5, Keilani Johnson-Ochoa, 4, and Kaliyah Johnson-Ochoa, 9, all four of whom were from Vallejo, the sheriff's office said.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred just after midnight Thursday near Loveridge Road.

Officials said that a driver in a Hyundai with the three children was going eastbound on the westbound lanes of the highway when they collided head-on with a Ford SUV. There were no passengers in the Ford SUV.

All victims died at the scene, according to CHP. The agency added that it is not yet clear if drugs and alcohol were a factor in the crash.
