May Gray Is Here To Stay, Westwood-Century City

Overcast skies, mild temperatures, and a chance of drizzle will prevail across Los Angeles this week.

LOS ANGELES, CA — May Gray will live up to its name this week with a series of overcast mornings and drizzly days across Los Angeles, according to the National Weather Service.

Every morning this week is forecast to start out with gray skies before the marine layer burns off thanks to a low-pressure system over Nevada. Both Tuesday night and Wednesday morning will see a chance of drizzle along with fog. Temperatures are expected to hover in the low 60s along the coast and in the low 70s inland to the San Gabriel Valley for most of the week. A very slight warm-up is expected Friday when temperatures are forecast to rise by about five degrees.

Overall, patchy morning fog and cool temperatures are expected to last through the Memorial Day weekend according to the National Weather Service.
