Police Investigate Robbery Near Mid-Wilshire Bank

The suspects stole a bank deposit bag from the victim and fled the scene, according to police.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A victim was robbed of $13,000 Thursday by two suspects near a bank in the Mid-Wilshire area.

Officers responded to the robbery at about 2:30 p.m. at the Hanmi Bank in the 3700 block of West Olympic Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The suspects stole a bank deposit bag from the victim and fled the scene, heading northbound on Fourth Street from Olympic Boulevard in a newer- model four-door BMW, police said.

Detectives described one of the suspects as a man in his 30s who was last seen wearing a black beanie, a gray sweater, and white shoes. The other suspect was only described as a man wearing a white shirt. No weapon was used in the robbery, police said.
