DUBLIN, CA — Stanford Blood Center is offering anyone who donates blood during the month of February the chance to win a pair of tickets to watch the Golden State Warriors play the San Antonio Spurs at the Chase Center on March 9. Three winners will be selected during the drawing, who will be notified March 4. Winners will get free tickets, VIP entrances, top seats, an exclusive access to the Ultra Club and United Club.

The drawing aims to address a nationwide blood shortage. The American Red Cross said that the number of people who have donated blood recently is the lowest it’s been in 20 years, putting lives at risk.

Donors can go to the recently-opened Tri-Valley Stanford Blood Donation Center, located at 3738 Fallon Road in Dublin, which offers 1,000 square feet of donation space, and four blood donation chairs. They can also donate at locations in Menlo Park, Mountain View, Campbell, or a mobile blood drive. See here to find a nearby location.
