Nursery Field Worker

Agriculture Wholesale Nursery is seeking a Full-Time Nursery Field Worker

Field Labor job duties include the following, but not limited to: field preparation for transplanting trees in green house, screen house or outside in field. General maintenance to screen house for the transplanting area. Transplanting trees into 5 gallon size pots or larger, or pruning trees often using hand tools including but limited to shovel and clippers. Fill, lift and carry various size pots with soil and plants weighing as much as 60 lbs. Load/unload plants or supplies onto carts, trailers or trucks. Load/unload plants or supplies to planting line assembly. Install support stakes and tie tree to stake with green tape. Perform any other duties in the maintenance of plant material and screen house or green house. Must be able to comprehend, follow instructions and communicate effectively with supervisor. Spanish or English speaking workers are welcome. Requirements: Ability to lift/carry at least up to 60lbs., work in outdoor conditions. Bend, repetitive movement with arms, head, neck, shoulders thru out the day. Standing and walking constantly. Wear appropriate clothing, durable footwear with closed toe shoes.
