Audrey Is A 'Dynamic, Caring, And Dedicated' Fremont Student

Fremont, California — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

How do you know the star local student?

She was my TA and she is the activities coordinator for the Best Buddies Club that I am the advisor for.

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?

She is an amazing young lady who has volunteered her time to help many groups of children in our community. She is the activities coordinator for the Best Buddies Club at Mission San Jose H. S. but acted as the copresident when the president could not fulfill her duties. She is the president of the Chinese Yo-Yo/Culture Club. She has mentored students to learn about their culture through the club and helped shy students to build their confidence. She has tutored girls in learning to program. She has written apps that help people deal with mental issues. Audrey was the TA in my special ed class where she helped our students with academics and having fun dancing and playing games. She is always looking for a way to help others.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?

She is incredibly dynamic, caring, and dedicated to helping others.
