NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA – East San Fernando Valley pizza lovers, rejoice! Restaurant chain Round Table Pizza is now open in North Hollywood, offering dine in, carryout and delivery.

The new Round Table is located at the busy landmark intersection of Lankershim Boulevard and Camarillo Street, just south of the NoHo Arts District. It’s operated by franchisee Harman Thind.

Thind has coupled his restaurant’s opening with a charity effort: For every large pizza a customer purchases, he’ll donate $1 to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. The restaurateur said in a press release he chose the Hollywood hospital for his philanthropy after seeing the care a close friend’s child received there.

Since its 1959 founding in Menlo Park, Round Table has grown to include hundreds of locations centered on the West Coast. Its name is a reference to King Arthur’s Knights of the Round Table; the chain’s marketing bills the restaurant as “pizza royalty.”

The new Round Table is located at 4764 Lankershim Blvd. and is open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
