Man Shot To Death In Huntington Beach

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA — A man was found shot to death in the 5200 block of Tasman Drive Monday night, according to Huntington Beach police.

A lockdown was in place Monday night as police investigated. Police responded around 8 p.m. for a shots fired report and found a man with a gunshot wound who died at the scene.

A suspect has not yet been identified and police are investigating the motive but said there is no threat to the public and the shooting appears to be an isolated incident.

Tasman Drive between Bolsa Chica Street and Cambay Lane was closed for several hours late Monday and residents were told to lock their doors and windows.
